On top of winning a gold medal at the NZ Coffee Awards, our coffee house Memphis Belle was voted the best cafe in Wellington multiple times, and the head of our customer service team was named the best barista in Wellington through many competitions including the World Barista Championship. Not bad at all for three years of age.

In light of these achievements we decided to send a member of the team overseas for two years in search of the best coffee in the world. He's seeking suitable farms for long term coffee-and-community development relationships, and gathering necessary knowledge, while the rest of us do real work. We figure that's the best next step for a small coffee company with aims far higher than we currently fly.
