Finca Churupampa has its origin with the Tocto Bermeo family. In February 2011, the Finca Churupampa project was formed with the goal of becoming a self-sustaining, productive, and comprehensive farm.
In 2013 they became exporters of high-quality coffees, working with multiple regional producers with a philosophy of continuous improvement and reinvestment in the production unit.
The Finca Churupampa model, as a self-sustaining business, was extended to 28 coffee-producing families in the towns of Tabaconas, Coipa and Chirinos, during 2015. They aim to consolidate and be a benchmark of a new business model that encourages associativity, sustainability, and trust between producer families, roasters, and financiers.
Finca Churupampa develops an integrated agronomic management that mainly seeks productivity and quality of life for all its producers through a series of services.
They provide personalised advice to each of their producing families, focusing on a selective harvest, correct drying of coffee, and proper storage.
Their stated goals are as follows:
- Create a business model, encouraging generational renewal and associativity in our partners.
Promote the relevance of the quality factor under established protocols and traceability of batches according to customer profiles.
Encourage productive diversification that provides food security to all our partners.
Implement greater management of agroecological techniques focused on environmental conservation and reforestation.
Facilitate and apply fertilization plans with each producer family.
- Orient the greater volume of coffee growers' production to specialty coffee markets, giving it greater added value.
