LOS MORALES - EL SALVADOR - NATURAL

After fleeing the country during El Salvador's civil war, the Morales family returned from the US and used their savings to buy back their family’s old farm. Initially, this new generation of farmers hired an agronomist who encouraged them to use 4 times the necessary amount of fertiliser each year (He was getting a cut from the fertiliser company). After a representative of the exporter Productor El Salvador pointed out this discrepancy, the family decided to work with them exclusively and they are now able to produce excellent coffee year on year. 

This Pacamara comes from trees that were planted 5 years ago, so this is only the second year of production from them. They are working closely with Productor El Salvador to ensure continuous quality moving forward.
