What's the scoop?
Earlier this year we had the pleasure of collaborating with some great minds and movers and shakers within the coffee industry and on the global stage. Savage Coffee and Finca Deba, founded by Jamison Savage, produce some of the highest quality coffee in the world. A goal for them is to make their coffee more accessible to coffee lovers everywhere. This goal challenged them to think outside of the norm and think about how they could easily send coffee around the world while removing the barrier of keeping coffee beans fresh and consumed within a certain time period. Cue specialty instant coffee.
Savage provided the coffee, we roasted it, and our friends and Newground turned it into (probably) the best instant you’ll have ever tried.

This single-serve ground specialty coffee comes in tea-like sachets and allows you to brew a perfect cup of coffee anywhere you are. Each drop is full of flavor and compelling, with notes of dark cherry, plum, and lingering cocoa finish.
Our single-serve instant coffees are cultivated under Panama’s tropical rainforest canopy by boutique family estates and then processed using the highest industry standards. These coffees are not just rare and delicious, they are incredibly convenient by simply adding 175 ml of clean balanced hot water. With each sachet, Savage Coffees Instant demonstrates our commitment to quality while embracing advanced innovation. This is the fourth wave of coffee.
To fully express Savage Coffees’ potential we recommend brewing them using clean balanced water, as it makes up 90 to 98.5% of brewed coffee. It’s important to use only fresh and soft water to fully extract flavors. We recommend using filtered or low mineral content spring water.
