Matt has embarked on a huge voyage to the Americas with two main new goals to achieve over the next two years;
1. Seek out the best speciality coffee farms in Central and South America.
This means learning Spanish, travelling to farms, cupping and collecting samples, making friends and learning about the various agricultural techniques and varietals available.
2. Study extremely hard.
During this time Matt will be using Harvard University as a base and travelling south from there. We seek to develop a trading system whereby we can ensure the greatest possible impact in ending poverty while becoming the progressive voice for speciality coffee in NZ, and this will take knowledge.
